About Our Prints
All our prints are supplied unframed unless stated.
Please see the drop-down size options in each print description for actual paper size and image size.
All pictures are printed with a border of approximately 2 inches. This is so they can be safely handled without damaging the image. The border size may vary for individual prints for aesthetic purposes. Please also note that the examples of prints in room settings are not to scale.
Our archival digital Giclee prints on Baryta fine art paper have a pearl finish reminiscent of a silver halide fibre-based print. The exceptional coating technology incorporated allows for excellent tonal range & detail with a glorious pearl surface finish delivering high contrast, deep rich blacks & pin sharp results. Exceptional D-Max and colour gamut, compatible with both dye and pigment inks making it ideal for both colour and monochrome reproductions.
The professional LUCIA pigment inks offer accurate colour reproduction and enhanced print longevity. Prints can last approx. 200 years in the photo album, 80-years on display behind glass (light fastness) and 50-years without the glass (gas fastness).
This is considered to be the industry standard for photographic art printing because it gives images optimum results and colour accuracy, as well as lightfastness and archival quality.
We scan and retouch all of the negatives and slides ourselves but as some of the films are sixty years old, naturally some minor blemishes will remain. Photos will be printed to a higher resolution than the image on our site, with no watermark.
The exclusive Cranham Collection limited edition prints are stamped using our embossing tool on the print border and the edition number entered by hand. They will also include a certificate of authenticity, a guarantee from the photographer and Welloffside Prints that there will be no more than 11 copies in each size we sell.
Welloffside limited edition prints are stamped using our embossing tool on the print border and the edition number entered by hand.
Open edition prints do not have a limited print run.
Each print is placed inside a crystal clear archival bag to protect it. It is then wrapped in tissue paper, rolled and inserted into a strong triangular postal tube to ensure everything reaches you in perfect condition.
All our prints are dispatched by courier using their tracking service.
Caring for your Print
Always handle the print using the border if it is out of its protective sleeve and be careful not to bend or fold.
Wear clean cotton gloves or if you don't have any, wash and dry your hands thoroughly to prevent damage to the print from any dirt or natural oils from your fingers.
Giclee prints naturally curl but before framing can be easily flattened. Leave the print in the clear sleeve and place on a clean flat surface away from sunlight with soft weights or books carefully placed on the ends for a few hours.
If you use a professional framing service, please take them the print in the clear sleeve and rolled in the box and they will do this service before framing.
Please note, all images remain the property of Offside Sports Photography Ltd and no form of reproduction for private use, commercial sales or non-commercial distribution is permitted without prior consent from the owners.
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you can't find what you want on this site, we will search our archive and let you know if we can supply the print.
