C-Type prints Fuji Matt
Fuji Crystal archive paper with a semi-matt finish. The paper is coated with a slightly stippled texture giving a very natural photographic finish with subtle colour. Great versatile paper, very natural and works well with all photographic images. Maintains colours in a very natural way, giving a detailed, 3-dimensional beautiful photographic reproduction.
There will be approximately 1/2 inch border on all sides of the print making it easier to handle and frame.
Archival digital Giclee prints
Our archival digital Giclee prints on Baryta fine art paper have a pearl finish reminiscent of a silver halide fibre-based print. The exceptional coating technology incorporated allows for excellent tonal range & detail with a glorious pearl surface finish delivering high contrast, deep rich blacks & pin sharp results. Exceptional D-Max and colour gamut, compatible with both dye and pigment inks making it ideal for both colour and monochrome reproductions. The professional LUCIA pigment inks offer accurate colour reproduction and enhanced print longevity. Prints can last approx. 200 years in the photo album, 80-years on display behind glass (light fastness) and 50-years without the glass (gas fastness).
This is considered to be the industry standard for photographic art printing because it gives images optimum results and colour accuracy, as well as lightfastness and archival quality.
We scan and retouch all of the negatives and slides ourselves but as some of the films are sixty years old, naturally some minor blemishes will remain. Photos will be printed to a higher resolution than the image on our site, with no watermark.
There will be approximately 1/2 inch border on all sides of the print making it easier to handle and frame.
Caring for your Print
Always handle the print using the border if it is out of its protective sleeve and be careful not to bend or fold.
Wear clean cotton gloves or if you don't have any, wash and dry your hands thoroughly to prevent damage to the print from any dirt or natural oils from your fingers.
Giclee prints naturally curl but before framing can be easily flattened. Leave the print in the clear sleeve and place on a clean flat surface away from sunlight with soft weights or books carefully placed on the ends for a few hours.
If you use a professional framing service, please take them the print in the clear sleeve and rolled in the box and they will do this service before framing.
Please note, all images remain the property of Offside Sports Photography Ltd and no form of reproduction for private use, commercial sales or non-commercial distribution is permitted without prior consent from the owners.
Please email us at shop@welloffside.com if you can't find what you want on this site, we will search our archive and let you know if we can supply the print.
